YOu can sort those by searching with the String “From:’name of the sender’ ”
for example search with “from:paul” fro emails u got from paul

Personally I have both a g-mail account for business and a Hotmail account for personal. I front-end both them with Outlook though which makes it much easier to manipulate the mails and overcomes this kind of limitation. I find both the Google and Hotmail interface clumsy.
